About the role

As a Business Development Representative at Prelude, you will be the first point of contact for prospects interested in our cutting‑edge authentication and user‑onboarding solutions. You will work closely with Account Executives and fellow BDRs to generate and qualify leads, and you will own the full sales cycle for smaller deals.

Key responsibilities

  • Ignite new sales opportunities by identifying target companies and contacts within assigned verticals and territories.
  • Conduct cold‑calls, send outreach emails, and experiment with additional channels to generate fresh leads.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, clearly articulate Prelude’s value proposition, and move prospects through the pipeline.
  • Close smaller deals independently while supporting larger opportunities with the sales team.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and other BDRs to uncover opportunities and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Continuously improve prospecting and sales processes as the business scales.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Previous experience in business development or sales is a strong plus.
  • Proactive mindset with a relentless drive to start conversations, build momentum, and close deals.
