Business Development Manager – Manufacturing (France)

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Manufacturing sector for its French operations. Reporting to the Sales Director for Manufacturing in Paris, you will expand the customer portfolio, acquire new logos, and deepen relationships with existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute sales strategies and action plans for prospects and clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Business, IT, R&D and other functions.
• Lead responses to RFIs/RFQs, managing both time‑and‑material and fixed‑price engagements.
• Analyse technical and business requirements, tailor offers, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Build and nurture internal and external networks, including ecosystem partners and software vendors.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of 3‑4 accounts, focusing on high‑value, multi‑year projects.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in sales of services and solutions.
• Strong background in discrete manufacturing, preferably automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Proven commercial drive, prospecting skills and ability to map complex client organisations.
• Experience selling offshore solutions/services.
• Fluent in English and French.
