Business Development Internship – Casablanca & Paris

About the role

The Business Development Internship supports Clifford Chance’s Casablanca and Paris offices, reporting to the General Manager of Casablanca, the Head of Operations in Paris and the Senior Client & Commercial Manager. Based in Paris, the intern will gain exposure to cross‑border client development, marketing and communications within a leading international law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Moroccan and French markets and the firm’s product areas.
• Create and maintain business development materials such as brochures and client presentations for both offices.
• Assist in organising client events, seminars and networking initiatives, ensuring smooth collaboration between Casablanca and Paris.
• Follow up on client focus programmes to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Research and compile market intelligence on clients and sectors across France, Morocco and Africa.
• Liaise with colleagues across the Clifford Chance network to support cross‑border projects.
• Draft content for newsletters, press releases and social media with a focus on Casablanca‑based activities.
• Contribute to marketing campaigns and communication strategies for both locations.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a full‑time university degree programme.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proactive, assertive and comfortable working in a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
