Windows & Linux Service Delivery Manager

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead the delivery and operation of Windows and Linux (RedHat) server environments for its Digital Team in Toulouse, France. You will act as the bridge between internal customers, the run supplier, and technical experts to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient server operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) with the external run supplier, including performance, invoicing, security patching, and problem management.
• Coordinate technical multi‑functional teams during major incidents or crises.
• Forecast and track budget, manage obsolescence, and drive minor upgrade implementations.
• Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and facilitate communication between customers, experts, and the supplier.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations or a similar role.
• Proven ability to manage outsourced contracts, ensuring compliance with price, SLA, and priority requirements while building trust.
• Highly organized, rigorous, and capable of handling multiple parallel activities.

Required skills

• Windows operating systems administration.
• Linux RedHat operating systems administration.
• Patch management tools such as WSUS, MCEM, and RedHat Satellite.
• Virtualisation with VMware.
• Active Directory and Linux Identity Management (IdM).
• Network fundamentals: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP.
