Travel Registered Nurse – Hospice Care

About the role

Moments Hospice is seeking a full‑time Travel Registered Nurse to provide hospice care across the United States. You will join a team that opens new locations, delivering compassionate end‑of‑life support while traveling for extended assignments of 8 weeks or more.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care for hospice patients.
• Administer medications and palliative treatments according to each patient’s plan.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Coordinate continuity of care by liaising with staff, updating plans of care, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Provide education, competency validation, and orientation for new nursing staff.
• Assist in assigning Hospice Assistants and participate in care conferences.
• Support the marketing team by demonstrating clinical stability at new sites.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure with hospice or palliative‑care experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for extended periods (8 weeks+).
• Strong critical‑thinking and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
