Transportation Operations Manager – Linehaul

About the role

The Transportation Operations Manager will lead linehaul activities at our Mions site, ensuring departures are prepared, scheduled, and executed flawlessly. You will coordinate dock teams, manage operational contingencies, and maintain safety and quality standards across all movements.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise linehaul departures, guaranteeing adherence to operational plans and departure schedules.
• Lead linehaul coordinators and dock teams, overseeing prioritisation, volume management, flow control, and safety compliance.
• Interface with sorting operations to ensure pallets are correctly prepared, sorted according to schedule, and any anomalies are resolved.
• Apply and enforce safety procedures, verify load compliance, and drive continuous improvement to reduce errors and incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in logistics, transport, or dock operations.
• Junior college (Bac +2) education or equivalent.
• Strong ability to work under pressure, manage stress, and make decisive decisions.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of transport and linehaul operations.
• Expertise in dock organisation, safety protocols, and transport planning.
• Familiarity with palletisation standards and load documentation.
