Transport Manager – Regional Logistics (EMEI)

About the role

The Transport Manager will shape and execute the regional transport strategy for inbound, internal, and customer deliveries, ensuring cost‑effective, timely, and sustainable logistics across the EMEI network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement transport strategies for inbound flows, internal transfers, and regional customer deliveries.
• Select carriers, negotiate rates and contracts, and monitor carrier performance.
• Co‑create and track transport budgets in partnership with finance.
• Lead a team of 2‑3 transport professionals located in Paris and Dubai.
• Produce monthly KPI reports covering performance, cost, and sustainability.
• Analyse transport activity daily/weekly/monthly and propose optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customs, CITES, hazardous‑goods regulations and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Oversee invoicing accuracy, resolve complaints, and support delivery coordination for over 40 boutique locations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procedures in Confluence and stay informed on carrier routes, rates, and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, customs, or distribution within retail, e‑commerce or freight‑forwarding environments.
• Strong management and communication skills, with experience leading a small logistics team.
• Ability to work with finance on budgeting and to present performance data to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Expertise in industry‑standard freight‑hauling methods and cost structures.
• Customs expertise for international trade (e.g., REX, Exportateur Agrée).
• Familiarity with OMS and TMS platforms.
• Proficiency with Confluence for procedure documentation.
