Technical Product Manager - Data Engineering (Hybrid)

About the role

As the first Technical Product Manager for Data Engineering at Betclic, you will shape the product vision and roadmap for two cross‑functional teams that drive the company’s data transformation. This greenfield position lets you define best‑in‑class product management for a platform and engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize roadmaps for Data Platform Engineering and Data Core, translating technical challenges into actionable plans.
• Run regular syncs with domain squad Product Owners and Engineering Managers to surface dependencies and ensure alignment.
• Drive evolution of data infrastructure, including DataOps, CI/CD pipelines, data quality, environment management and cost governance.
• Collaborate with FinOps initiatives to optimise cloud spend across Snowflake, AWS, ClickHouse and Astro.
• Support strategic initiatives such as Data Mesh adoption, AI‑driven data engineering (LangGraph, Bedrock), and data governance.
• Lead product rituals – roadmap reviews, planning sessions and OKRs – and represent Data Platform & Core in cross‑functional discussions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to translate complex technical backlogs into a coherent, value‑driven roadmap.
• Experience acting as the connective tissue between domain squads, infrastructure engineers and senior leadership.
