Team Leader – Therapeutic Mattresses

About the role

Baxter is looking for a Team Leader (H/F) for its therapeutic mattresses sector in Pluvigner. You take an active part in daily operations and lead the teams to meet Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery targets. As the reference for your area, you ensure standards are respected and act as the main link between the shop floor teams and the supervisor. The post is in a team, with 2x8 shifts (6-13h and 13-20h) and the option of day shifts (7-16h).

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members, train and integrate new arrivals, run Tier 1 meetings and ensure upward, downward and cross-team communication.
• Ensure compliance with standards (Safety, Quality, Deadlines, Costs), follow performance indicators, manage production documents and handle non-conforming products.
• Act quickly on breakdowns, alert when necessary and provide the elements needed for effective resolution.
• Promote improvement ideas, progress projects and the Lean culture.
• Respect and enforce safety and energy-performance rules, report risks and contribute to environmental goals.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent experience gained through practice on a similar post.
• First production or line-running experience is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, good listening and conflict management.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the posts in your sector and computer tools (Windows, ERP).
• Effective communication and team leadership.
