Teacher in Industrial Sciences & Technology – Valence

About the role

The Academy of Grenoble is recruiting a teacher in Industrial Sciences of the Engineer (SII) and Technology to work in secondary schools located in the Valence area. This is a full‑time fixed‑term contract (18 hours per week) running until 31 /08 /2027.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct and educate students to achieve academic success.
• Transmit the values of the Republic and foster responsible citizenship.
• Design, deliver and assess teaching sequences covering technology from 5th to 3rd grade.
• Ensure the safety of pupils during practical scientific and technological activities.

Required profile

• Open‑minded, willing to share knowledge and demonstrate strong relational skills.
• Patience, good listening abilities and a collaborative spirit.
• Minimum a university licence (Bachelor’s degree) with knowledge in at least one of: mechanical engineering, construction engineering, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.

Required skills

• Solid scientific and industrial‑technological knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written French; good command of English is desired.
• Ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing situations, and manage projects.
• Teamwork, group facilitation and proficiency with digital tools.
• Attention to student safety during laboratory work.
