Talent Sourcing & Placement Officer

About the role

The Talent Sourcing & Placement Officer will support Global University Systems (GUS) France in attracting prospective students and securing apprenticeship and work‑study placements. The role combines relationship building with corporate partners, advising employers on recruitment needs, and managing the end‑to‑end placement process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and strengthen relationships with employer partners to secure apprenticeship and work‑study placements.
• Advise employers on role requirements, candidate profiles and facilitate connections with students.
• Represent GUS at recruitment events, campus career fairs and key account initiatives.
• Deliver an outstanding employer experience to maximise partner retention.
• Identify employer hiring needs, proactively source suitable candidates and resolve partnership issues.
• Contribute to Apprenticeship Tax and corporate philanthropy fundraising campaigns.
• Achieve annual enrolment targets for apprenticeship and work‑study programmes.
• Assess, shortlist and present students to employer partners.
• Negotiate training fees, ensure compliance with apprenticeship regulations and manage contractual documentation.
• Coordinate the tripartite relationship between the institution, apprentice and employer throughout the programme.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop and maintain corporate partnerships.
• Experience in advising employers on recruitment needs and candidate matching.
• Strong communication skills for representing the institution at events.
• Capability to manage placement processes, including negotiation and compliance.
