Subsidiary Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Subsidiary Accountant to join our Administrative and Financial Department in Pont‑de‑Cheruy. The successful candidate will support the preparation of statutory and IFRS financial statements for the group’s subsidiaries and ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank accounts and general ledger entries.
• Process incoming payments, issue customer reminders and follow up on overdue receivables.
• Reconcile supplier invoices with inventory receipts and enter supplier invoices promptly.
• Record bank transactions and produce monthly reconciliation reports.
• Oversee monthly payroll integration, flagging any discrepancies.
• Verify, allocate and post expense reports according to authorization limits.
• Coordinate monthly and annual closings, preparing statutory and IFRS financial statements.
• Prepare tax returns and submit mandatory reports such as VAT, social security and trade declarations.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of post‑secondary education in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP and accounting software.
• Experience with cash‑management processes.
• Advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
