Structure Stress Engineer – Aircraft Product

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Structure Stress Engineer to support aircraft product development within the MAP Engineering team in Toulouse. The engineer will address airframe issues throughout the production flow, from final‑assembly line receipt to delivery, and contribute to flight‑test adaptations and design‑for‑manufacturing improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for airframe issues from FAL to customer delivery.
• Define aircraft adaptations required for flight‑test campaigns.
• Improve design for manufacturing and support manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Strong background in airframe structure stress analysis, both metallic and composite.
• Experience with ATA‑52 doors, ATA‑53 fuselage, ATA‑55 stabilizers, and ATA‑571 wing‑root joints.
• Previous experience as a stress approver or in a design office/MAP environment.
• Fluent in technical English and proficient in French.
