Structural Dynamics Engineer – Spacecraft Deployable Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Dynamics Engineer to lead the analysis and dynamic behaviour of deployable spacecraft structures. You will work in a fast‑growing New Space company, ensuring hardware performs reliably from concept through qualification to flight.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the dynamic behaviour of deployable mechanical systems.
• Perform multibody dynamics, modal and vibration analyses.
• Support structural verification and qualification testing.
• Correlate simulation results with physical test data.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimise stiffness, mass and performance.
• Support product development from concept to flight‑ready hardware.

Required profile

• Experience with multibody dynamics, modal analysis and structural dynamics.
• Knowledge of Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) and dynamic simulation.
• Full product development lifecycle experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as CATIA, Siemens NX or Creo.
• Background in space, aerospace, defence, robotics, launch vehicles, motorsport or other high‑performance engineering environments.
