Strategic Accounts Manager – GPO France

About the role

Merit Medical is seeking a commercially driven professional to lead strategic account management for GPOs in France. The role combines market expertise, relationship building, and revenue management to grow and protect Merit’s business portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute long‑term account strategies aligned with customer and company objectives.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing, and tender processes to maximise market share and profitability.
• Develop comprehensive account plans that drive sustainable revenue growth and long‑term partnerships.
• Act as the primary representative for assigned GPOs, building executive‑level relationships with procurement leaders, pharmacists, hospital administrators and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Utilise commercial, pricing and market analytics to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Pricing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Commercial Leadership to deliver customer‑focused projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare, Life Sciences or related field.
• Proven experience managing strategic, key or national accounts within the medical device or life‑sciences industry.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of balancing growth and margin protection.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills.
• Deep understanding of the French healthcare market, purchasing structures and GPO dynamics.
• Fluent in French and English.
