Strategic Account Manager – EMEA (Rennes)

About the role

Future Electronics is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to support its EMEA team in the Rennes region. The role focuses on building and expanding relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive bookings and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify allocated accounts, determine potential, and select appropriate sales channels.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and implement the company’s go‑to‑market strategy.
• Conduct a minimum of six in‑person customer visits per week to present solutions and generate quotes.
• Maintain accurate customer profiles and activity logs in the CRM system.
• Identify and develop new accounts using internal technical, marketing, and corporate support.
• Create weekly call plans and manage quote dashboards to maximise opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to uncover design opportunities and drive product sales.
• Perform regular block‑diagram reviews with field application engineers and suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven sales track record in electronics distribution or a similar industry.
• Fluent in French and English with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Commercially astute, highly organised, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the electronics distribution market; supplier knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
