Strategic Account Executive – France

About the role

Rescale is looking for a high‑performing Strategic Account Executive to lead direct enterprise sales and drive account growth across France. The role is field‑based, requires building strategic relationships with key and enterprise accounts, and involves selling Rescale’s HPC platform together with advanced modeling, simulation, and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand a portfolio of strategic key and enterprise accounts throughout France.
• Develop account and territory plans that identify high‑value expansion paths, whitespace, and competitive risks.
• Generate pipeline through proactive prospecting, account‑based engagement and executive networking.
• Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from discovery and value engineering to negotiation and close.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing and product teams to deliver coordinated account plans and technical validation.
• Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene, accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Represent Rescale at customer meetings, industry events and executive forums, traveling approximately 30% of the time.

Required profile

• 5+ years of success in enterprise or strategic account sales, preferably selling complex technical, cloud or SaaS solutions.
• Proven ability to grow existing strategic accounts and win new enterprise logos in France.
• Experience selling to large organizations in automotive, manufacturing, industrial technology or related engineering sectors.
• Strong consultative selling, value‑based selling and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.
• Resilient, self‑motivated and comfortable managing long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Based in France and able to travel regularly across the country.
