Standardisation Engineer – Materials & Processes

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Standardisation Engineer to join its Materials and Processes team in Toulouse. You will help define, manage and distribute standard product data used across aircraft design, production, in‑service support and procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage standardisation activities for an assigned technical perimeter.
• Coordinate local standardisation using specific tools and documents.
• Provide data‑management support to meet local needs.
• Develop digital standards to ensure end‑to‑end data continuity.
• Lead improvement projects and contribute to public standardisation bodies (AFNOR, DIN, BSI, EN, ISO, etc.).
• Capture and disseminate best practices, lessons learned and knowledge.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and support internal customers.
• Promote collaborative ways of working within the international team.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in product standardisation.
• Familiarity with national and international standardisation organisations.
• Strong data‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
