The role is remote and based in France, and sits in the Content team that builds and maintains the legal content powering Clio's platform. Key responsibilities

- Match or beat LexisNexis France, Dalloz and Lamy on coverage, currency and quality, and link wins, trust and retention to revenue.
- Map gaps in French case law and legislation, rank them by legal weight, demand, competitive risk and cost, and run a ranked backlog with Content Ops and Engineering.
- Lead build, buy and license calls with Licensing, Legal and Corporate Development, and build owned pipelines that can stand up under load.
- Set standards for monitoring, fault tolerance and recovery so Vincent and Clio Work stay online.
- Work with French Editorial and Ops to improve case law and legislative metadata, and pair editorial review with AI tools.
- Work with Finance and FP&A to measure the impact of French content spend and build dashboards.
- Present roadmap progress and business impact to the Content Committee quarterly, compare coverage against competitors, and build partnerships with courts, publishers and open-data groups.
- Train Product, Sales, Marketing and Support teams, keep the internal reference guide current, and act as the expert on enterprise deals needing deep knowledge of French legal content.
Required profile
- 7 to 10 years in legal publishing, legal data work or content and product management, owning a content portfolio end to end.
- Deep knowledge of the French legal system and publishing market, and direct experience with French case law and legislation for research or practice platforms.
- Senior-level strategy and results ownership, strong product ownership and ability to lead across teams without direct reports.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical people, including executives.
Required skills
- Technical comfort with ETL pipelines, ingestion systems and metadata structures.
- Ability to set standards others follow and to use AI to improve their craft.
What we offer
- Salary range of EUR 79,000 to 118,600, depending on region, experience and skillset.
- Competitive salary with health, dental and vision insurance.
- Hybrid work, with local employees expected in the office at least twice a week.
- Flexible time off, encouraged 20 days per year, and a $2,000 annual counseling benefit.
- RRSP matching and RESP contribution, and a Clioversary recognition program.
