Special Education Teacher (Grades 26-27)

About the role

The school is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher for grades 26‑27. The teacher will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), deliver direct instruction, and collaborate with other staff to support the academic and personal growth of students with special needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement each student’s IEP.
• Deliver classroom instruction and coordinate related services as outlined in the IEP.
• Create a learning environment that meets individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Prepare lessons, maintain written evidence of preparation, and assess student progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and legal requirements.
• Support school policies on student conduct and classroom management.
