Sovereign Cloud Sales Specialist

About the role

Cloudera is looking for a Sovereign Cloud Sales Specialist to drive the growth of its sovereign cloud offerings across the EMEA region. The role sits within the AI and Cloud team and focuses on building relationships with key sovereign cloud vendors and enterprise customers, turning strategy into revenue‑producing execution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the sales expert for sovereign cloud, influencing vendor and customer decisions and serving as a trusted advisor to field sales teams.
• Develop and nurture commercial relationships that lead to Cloudera marketplace listings and deployments with selected sovereign cloud providers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional resources—including legal, solutions engineering, engineering, and marketing—to deliver joint offerings.
• Lead discovery workshops, white‑board sessions, and value conversations with strategic and enterprise accounts.
• Drive the sales motion across EMEA, including partner enablement, pipeline generation, and execution of sales plays.
• Own the sovereign cloud pipeline and forecast, delivering incremental revenue through adoption and consumption.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, preferably with cloud or AI solutions.
• Proven track record of building partner ecosystems and closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Strong ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a global, cross‑functional team.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills with senior business leaders.

Required skills

• Experience selling AI and data platform solutions.
• Ability to navigate and influence large enterprise procurement processes.
