Solution Architect (Strasbourg)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our development team in Strasbourg, France. The role involves working on‑site at our premises or at customer locations, collaborating closely with a major client’s IT department to design and deliver robust architecture solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret detailed business requirements and translate them into architectural designs and specifications.
• Customize and use modelling/design tools (e.g., Sparx EA) to create conceptual architecture models.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy artefacts such as reports, data scripts, diagrams, and tool configurations.
• Identify system, infrastructure and project inter‑dependencies and balance competing demands to meet deliverables.
• Assess client modelling tool usage and advise on governance, conventions, and best‑practice configurations.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years as a technology, data, or applications/services architect.
• Proven experience in software development, agile environments, and on‑premise, virtualization, and cloud‑based infrastructures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• TOGAF Practitioner certification and excellent command of English.

Required skills

• OCP, PostgreSQL, Kafka.
• Sparx Enterprise Architect (or similar modelling tools).
• Cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
• Agile software development methodologies.
• Security best practices and tools.
• Biometrics knowledge (considered an asset).
