Software Engineer Intern

About the role

TwoWay is looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join its fast‑moving team building real‑time trading tools for investment banks. You will work on production‑ready features, collaborate with senior engineers and product designers, and gain hands‑on experience in a high‑impact fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core features of the web application, covering both backend logic and frontend UI.
• Participate in the design and architecture of new components and APIs.
• Translate user requirements from the product team into clean, maintainable code.
• Write automated tests and take part in code reviews to ensure high code quality.
• Investigate and resolve bugs in a fast‑paced production setting.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development, DevOps, and product iteration.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Computer Science or related degree program and available for a 6‑12 month internship.
• Strong interest in full‑stack development and fintech applications.
• Ability to work independently, ask questions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience or strong interest in modern frontend frameworks such as SvelteKit.
• Familiarity with backend technologies like NestJS or Node.js.
