Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Cloud & AI Platform

About the role

Cititec is partnering with a fast‑growing European cloud infrastructure company to expand its next‑generation cloud and AI platform. As a Site Reliability Engineer you will help ensure the reliability, scalability and automation of a large‑scale Kubernetes‑based platform used by engineering teams and customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Support and improve large‑scale Kubernetes platforms.
• Drive infrastructure automation and reliability initiatives using IaC.
• Build and enhance observability, monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise deployment and operational processes.
• Manage production infrastructure in high‑availability environments.
• Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortems.
• Define and evolve SRE standards, SLIs and SLOs.
• Contribute to CI/CD and GitOps‑driven infrastructure practices.

Required profile

• Experience in an SRE, DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong background with Kubernetes and Linux systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Solid understanding of monitoring, observability and production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting or development with Python, Go or Bash.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and automation focus.
