Services Architect 3 - Paris/London

About the role

Datadog's Implementation Services team helps customers implement and deploy Datadog quickly. Its architects lead the discovery, design, build and launch of the Datadog platform so customers get the most value from their investment. As a Services Architect 3, you will develop the technical roadmap for a customer's implementation and lead them through it.

Key responsibilities

• Design and guide the execution of Datadog implementations, including gathering requirements, building technical architecture and supporting deployment and launch
• Guide customer onboarding through co-development working sessions and help customers overcome roadblocks
• Write automation and design architecture for deployment templates
• Manage the operation of implementation projects
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Account Management and Sales to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an Architect or Consultant in a professional services team
• Experience designing and delivering technical solutions for DevOps monitoring or architecture systems
• Able to travel up to 30% of the time by car, train or air, and to sit up to 4 hours travelling to and from client sites
• Growth mindset, open to change and AI tools

Required skills

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and compute technologies (EC2, serverless, VMware, VMs, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Configuration management, IAC and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, Circle CI, GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines
• Programming or scripting in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP or .NET
