Senior/Lead AI Deployment Engineer - Supply Chain

About the role

Celonis is looking for a Senior/Lead AI Deployment Engineer focused on supply chain, based in Paris. As the hands-on owner of Celonis delivery for your customers, you run the engagement end to end: understanding the business challenge, designing and building the solution on the platform, driving adoption and quantifying the value delivered. You work with AI agents as your primary tools, setting the direction while they handle much of the build.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders, turning strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases.
• Build and configure the analytical core on the platform (data models, process analyses, dashboards), validating outputs for accuracy and business relevance.
• Lead value workshops to identify root causes of process inefficiencies and define the KPIs that measure business impact.
• Design and deploy operational solutions (automations, action flows, AI-powered insights).
• Present business cases to senior (VP- and C-level) stakeholders and secure sign-off on the value realization plan.
• Enable key users to run and extend the solution independently and document design decisions for a clean handover.
• Manage delivery against timeline, scope and customer expectations, and act as a subject-matter expert in pre-sales.

Required profile

• 4+ years in management, IT or data consulting, or process improvement consulting within software vendors; 6+ years with demonstrated project leadership for the Senior DE level.
• Deep expertise in enterprise supply chain processes and performance metrics.
• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable field.
• Professional fluency in French and English; travel to client sites (mainly Paris, 2-3 days per month).

Required skills

• Hands-on familiarity with supply chain systems such as SAP (MM/SD/PP, S/4HANA, APO/IBP) or equivalents like Oracle, Kinaxis, o9 or Blue Yonder.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, strong data modelling skills.
• Comfort using AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor); prompt or context engineering is a strong plus.
• Prior hands-on experience with Celonis is a plus.
