Senior Solutions Architect France

About the role

Databricks is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect based in the Paris region to work with its customers across France. You will use your technical expertise to show how the Databricks Data & Intelligence Platform helps customers solve complex data challenges, working with a collaborative, customer-focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Build successful client relationships throughout France, giving technical and business value alongside Account Executives.
• Act as an expert in big data analytics and a trusted advisor on architecture, design and implementation, helping customers adopt the platform.
• Author reference architectures, how-to guides and demo applications, and lead workshops, seminars and meet-ups to grow the local community.
• Develop into a technical and/or industry specialist.

Required profile

• Ability to engage customers in technical sales, challenge their questions and communicate technical value propositions.
• Experience building customer relationships and internal partnerships with account executives and teams.
• Location in the Paris region, within commuting distance for a hybrid schedule.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events and training.
• Fluent business French and English.

Required skills

• Previous experience coding in a core language such as Python, Java or Scala, and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
• Use case discovery, scoping and delivery of complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences.
