Senior Software Engineer - DevOps

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on DevOps to join NexGuard in Rennes. You will design, build and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power our watermarking solutions across cloud, on‑premises and customer environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate cloud (AWS) and on‑premises infrastructure supporting NexGuard products.
• Drive DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring and reliability engineering.
• Develop and maintain test plans, validation frameworks and automated testing tools using Python.
• Integrate watermarking solutions into Windows, Linux and AWS platforms for customers.
• Reproduce customer environments to troubleshoot complex field issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product teams and customers in Agile development cycles.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Several years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
