Senior Sales Specialist - Grid Integration

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Sales Specialist within its Grid Integration business in France. You will drive the commercial development of high-voltage substation solutions and advanced power quality systems, with a strong focus on STATCOM technologies, working directly with utility, industrial and infrastructure customers. The role also supports marketing strategies, contributes to financial performance analysis (profitability, budgeting, ROI) and ensures high-quality customer support. It is based in Massy or Lyon, full time, with nationwide travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the high-voltage substation and power quality (STATCOM) portfolio in France.
• Engage proactively with new and existing customers, on site and remotely, to understand their technical and commercial needs.
• Recommend optimized system solutions from the high-voltage substation and power quality offering.
• Support local marketing activities to strengthen Grid Integration visibility and market positioning.
• Contribute to profitability studies, budgeting and ROI reviews.
• Provide customers with accurate technical, system and pricing information.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve tender, delivery and execution issues.
• Manage complex sales processes with a high degree of autonomy and guide junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a Licence in a similar technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales or a related field (preferred).
• Proven track record in high-voltage substation (HTB) projects.
• Knowledge of turnkey systems, EPC environments and project execution lifecycles.
• Fluency in French and English; based in Massy or Lyon.
• Nationwide travel availability; experience with power quality solutions highly valued.
