Senior People Operations Manager (International)

About the role

Photoroom is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to own and improve payroll, HRIS, contracts, compliance, benefits, immigration and employee lifecycle processes across its international markets. You will design, automate and document workflows to support rapid growth while maintaining privacy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Run monthly payroll for France and Europe and twice‑monthly payroll for the US, managing external providers.
• Maintain French statutory obligations, HR compliance calendar, and operational administration of the CSE.
• Manage employment contracts, offer letters, amendments and develop clear service level agreements.
• Oversee onboarding, off‑boarding, promotions, compensation changes, leaves and immigration processes.
• Administer benefits across France, Europe and the US and support compensation benchmarking.
• Own HRIS configuration, data quality, integrations and automation, currently using Hibob.
• Build self‑service documentation, workflows and playbooks to reduce manual queries.

Required profile

• Proven ownership of People Operations in a fast‑moving company of 100+ employees.
• Hands‑on experience with French payroll and employment compliance.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Based in Paris and able to work onsite at least three days per week.
