Senior MES Software Engineer

About the role

AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, is seeking a Senior MES Software Engineer to join its MES Delivery team in Europe. Based in Paris, you will work directly with customers to design, develop and commission Manufacturing Execution System solutions that drive operational efficiency and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, participate in system design and conduct code reviews.
• Develop, maintain and enhance MES solutions using AVEVA products (System Platform, MES, Work Tasks).
• Integrate MES with external systems such as SAP, PLCs and SCADA.
• Define system acceptance test criteria and ensure full compliance with customer requirements.
• Perform unit and system testing, support site commissioning and troubleshoot production issues.
• Produce detailed technical documentation.
• Travel up to 25 % to customer sites for workshops, training and implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Industrial Software, Production IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with C#.NET and Web API development.
• Proven experience implementing and commissioning industrial software on manufacturing sites.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer engagements.
