Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Business Analysis

About the role

Amgen France is looking for a Senior Manager in Financial Planning & Business Analysis. You will lead and manage a team of four finance professionals, including two local direct reports and two ACCP analysts, and own the affiliate forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning processes. The role acts as a strategic advisor to the Leadership Team and partners with Commercial, Medical, Access, HR and Supply Chain leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, investment evaluation and scenario modelling, and lead forecasting of revenue, expenses and operating profit, identifying risks and opportunities
• Partner with Value & Access to assess pricing strategies, market access risks and financial implications
• Monitor actual and forecasted costs and revenues monthly, quarterly and annually, and coordinate budget, latest estimate and variance analysis
• Lead long-term planning (long-range scenario) and deliver financial insights and performance reporting to the Affiliate Management Team
• Lead finance transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives
• Develop and coach local and international team members, and build partnerships across functions

Required profile

• Degree in Economics or Business Administration
• More than 8-10 years in a similar position in an international environment, preferably in pharma
• 2-3 years in a management position in an international finance department is an asset
• 2-3 years in accounting and 5-6 years in budgeting and planning

Required skills

• Excellent use of Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of business administration, tax (especially VAT), accounting and consolidation, and US GAAP
• Preferred: diagnostics, Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, CODEX, AI
