Senior Legal Counsel – Paris

About the role

Brevo is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Paris office and support the global organization on a wide range of legal matters. Reporting to the Global VP Legal, you will work closely with product, compliance and business teams to ensure that the company’s operations and contracts meet regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice and risk assessments to senior management across the business.
• Draft, review and negotiate SaaS agreements, service contracts, data processing agreements, NDAs and other commercial documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as GDPR, AI Act, CCPA and anti‑bribery laws.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on their impact on Brevo’s activities.
• Support due‑diligence processes, including M&A transactions.
• Develop and improve internal legal processes and policies.
• Manage litigation and pre‑litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel when needed.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of legal experience, with a portion in technology and commercial transactions.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self‑motivated, organized and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS and other technology‑focused agreements.
• Knowledge of data‑privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, AI Act) and anti‑bribery legislation.
• Familiarity with M&A due‑diligence processes.
