Senior Legal Counsel

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join the in‑house legal team of a market‑leading global consumer business in La Défense, Paris. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will work on high‑profile, cross‑border matters and provide pragmatic, commercially‑focused advice to senior leadership across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of commercial and corporate legal matters.
- Lead on B2C and consumer law issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide competition law advice across European markets.
- Support compliance, governance and regulatory initiatives, including GDPR and broader privacy matters.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to enable commercial decision‑making while managing legal risk.
Required profile
- Strong in‑house commercial legal experience with 8‑12 years post‑qualification experience.
- Proven expertise in B2C/consumer law and solid competition law knowledge.
- Pragmatic, commercially‑minded approach to legal problem solving.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in an international environment.
