Alan Clinic is building a next‑generation health companion that combines AI, medical expertise, and digital care. As a Senior Engineering Manager (hands‑on), you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver a safe, scalable conversational AI and the underlying care platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and mentor a high‑performance engineering team focused on AI‑driven chat experiences and care delivery.
• Own the architecture for Mo’s future capabilities, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across new markets.
• Stay close to the codebase, contribute hands‑on, and guide technical decisions for both the AI agent and the care platform.
• Collaborate with product, ML, and medical experts to translate clinical requirements into robust engineering solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, feedback loops, and talent density.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in fast‑moving, product‑focused environments.
• Hands‑on technical background with a track record of building large‑scale, reliable systems.
• Comfort working at the intersection of product engineering, machine‑learning, and healthcare.
• Strong communication skills to align cross‑functional stakeholders.
