Senior Data Scientist – Identity Verification (GenAI & Computer Vision)

About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist embedded in the Identity Verification team, you will create next‑generation verification features using Generative AI and Computer Vision. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Risk to deliver production‑ready solutions that protect data integrity and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative GenAI and Computer Vision approaches to solve complex identity verification challenges.
• Conduct deep‑dive exploratory data analysis and generate novel insights that shape product direction.
• Design, implement and analyse rigorous experiments and A/B tests to measure model performance.
• Own the end‑to‑end model lifecycle from concept through deployment and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, Risk) to maximise impact of data‑science initiatives.
• Champion a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing and cross‑team learning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of applied data‑science experience in data‑intensive environments.
• Expert‑level Python programming and proven ability to deploy models at high traffic scale.
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI and Computer Vision model experimentation, including deep‑learning pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent French (written and spoken) – essential for daily work.
• Proactive, curious and able to work autonomously while driving continuous improvement.
