Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Swan, a leading European fintech, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data team in Paris. This hybrid position combines business partnership with internal data‑team improvement, helping stakeholders make data‑driven decisions while elevating the way the team works with data.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define questions, lead end‑to‑end data projects, and turn analyses into actionable recommendations.
• Own domain data logic: define and maintain KPIs, write specifications for modeling, ensure data quality, and build dbt models when needed.
• Develop and maintain Metabase dashboards and executive reports as data products, managing their lifecycle.
• Lead internal initiatives to harmonise data‑team practices, including KPI governance, dashboard lifecycle, and data catalog upkeep.
• Drive AI adoption, run Metabase training, and create data onboarding programs for new employees.

Required profile

• 6+ years of data‑analytics experience working closely with non‑technical business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead adoption of new standards or processes across a team without formal authority.
• Strong follow‑through, grit, and a passion for sharing knowledge through training and documentation.
• Comfort handling sensitive or confidential data.

Required skills

• Fluent SQL.
• Experience with Metabase or similar BI tools.
• Familiarity with dbt or building data marts (preferred).
