Senior Consultant - Satcom Payload Designer

About the role

We are looking for a highly‑motivated Senior Consultant to design and optimise satellite communication payloads for our clients in the fast‑growing space sector. Based in Toulouse, you will work on concept analysis, feasibility studies and procurement support for both new and existing Satcom systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Satcom consulting projects, managing customer interfaces, budgets, schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform end‑to‑end engineering of satellite communication systems, translating customer needs into technical parameters and delivering preliminary payload designs.
• Generate and assess trade‑offs between cost, performance and operational complexity, including CAPEX/OPEX analysis.
• Produce simulations, technical analyses and payload specifications to support RFP responses and contract negotiations.

Required profile

• MSc in space engineering with a focus on telecommunications.
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience in satellite communications, including at least 3 years as a payload engineer on complex missions.
• Proven ability to balance commercial and technical requirements and to manage consulting projects autonomously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent English and EU citizenship.
