Senior Communications Specialist (Defence & Aerospace)

About the role

TEKEVER is seeking a senior communications professional to join its central Communications team in Toulouse. The role supports integrated communications strategies across France and international markets, strengthening the company’s reputation in defence, security, aerospace and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate communications strategies for France and other markets.
• Create integrated communication plans aligned with business growth priorities.
• Produce high‑quality content such as press releases, executive messaging, thought leadership, speeches, case studies and internal communications.
• Support multimedia production including videos, photography, motion graphics, podcasts and social media assets.
• Coordinate media relations in France and Europe, building relationships with defence, aerospace, security and business journalists.
• Identify speaking opportunities, awards and events to raise the company’s profile.
• Provide communications counsel to senior leaders and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with issues management and crisis communications when required.
• Monitor industry trends, geopolitical developments and competitor positioning.

Required profile

• At least eight years of communications experience, preferably in defence, aerospace, security, government technology or enterprise IT.
• Proven track record in strategic communications, reputation management and media relations.
• Experience working in international or multi‑market organisations.
• Strong understanding of the French defence, aerospace and security landscape, with broader European exposure considered an advantage.
