Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Go expertise to help build and scale our distributed authentication platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale a distributed system using Go, DynamoDB, SQS, Redshift and Lambdas.
• Develop a snappy full‑stack app with modern tech such as Next on Vercel and gRPC.
• Advance the Prelude API to be industry‑leading in usability, performance and functionality.
• Ensure services are scalable, extensible, reliable and performant.
• Deploy and scale our fraud‑prevention model for hundreds of large customers.
• Create and maintain internal tools that boost developer efficiency.
• Work directly with clients daily to assist them and build features based on their needs.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to guarantee API stability and reliability.

Required profile

• Several years designing and engineering large‑scale systems.
• Strong Go coding skills; experience with Rust, TypeScript or similar is a plus.
• Preference for simplicity over complexity with intuition for scalable solutions.
• Product‑led mindset focused on impact and outcomes.
• Fluent professional English for an international team.
• Experience building front‑ends with modern frameworks like React or Vue is a huge plus.
