Senior Associate – Payments & Digital for Retail & Luxury (CDI)

About the role

Pwc is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Digital for Customer team, supporting retailers, consumer brands and luxury houses in their digital transformation. The role focuses on merchant payments strategy, improving conversion, launching new checkout experiences and advising on payment service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in RFPs and develop the firm’s payment offering.
• Lead delivery of payment projects, ensuring quality and timeline adherence.
• Manage and mentor project teams throughout the engagement.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
• Produce thought‑leadership content such as articles, viewpoints and service offers.
• Support team animation and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate of a business school, engineering school or a university master’s program.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a consulting firm, fintech or merchant environment with a proven track record in payments.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams or projects.
• Strong analytical, synthetic and creative thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
