Senior Accountant – Tax & Statutory Compliance

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Tax & Statutory Compliance will join our finance team in France to lead tax compliance and statutory reporting activities. You will ensure accurate, timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports while supporting audits and regulatory inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and preparation, ensuring all tax returns and statutory reports are filed on time and accurately.
• Review and analyse financial statements and maintain general‑ledger accounts in line with local and international accounting standards.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, advise internal stakeholders on tax implications, and support audit processes.
• Collaborate with finance and management teams to improve internal controls, optimise tax positions and maintain precise financial documentation.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in tax compliance, tax preparation and accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in statutory reporting, audit support and working with multinational organisations.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical abilities and capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication in English; French or Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
