Security Lead

About the role

Alan is looking for a Security Lead to head its security function across more than ten countries. You will be responsible for protecting a fast‑growing health insurer operating in a highly regulated environment. The role combines team leadership, strategic planning and hands‑on security governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and expand a multi‑national security team, defining clear priorities and ownership.
• Define Alan’s security posture in the AI era, creating frameworks for safe AI‑driven product releases.
• Own the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 certification programme.
• Navigate complex regulatory requirements (DORA, HDS, RGPD, NIS2, PGSSI‑S) across all operating countries.
• Align security strategy with legal, DPO, risk, engineering and product teams to embed a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security teams in regulated industries, preferably health or insurance.
• Strong understanding of multi‑country regulatory landscapes and ability to translate them into technical controls.
• Strategic mindset with the capacity to position security as a business asset.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ISO 27001 implementation and ISMS management.
• Deep knowledge of AI governance, LLM security and AI‑driven threat modelling.
• Expertise in handling regulatory frameworks such as DORA, HDS, RGPD, NIS2 and PGSSI‑S.
