Security Engineer (Remote, France)

About the role

We are looking for a Security Engineer to join a fast‑growing SaaS platform serving millions of users worldwide. The role is fully remote and based in France, offering the chance to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and influence engineering culture across an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement security features, safeguards and internal tooling.
• Integrate security best practices from design through deployment.
• Lead security initiatives, propose solutions and deliver production‑ready outcomes.
• Improve overall security posture to meet enterprise‑grade compliance.
• Identify, investigate and mitigate abusive activity to protect platform integrity.
• Define and evolve internal security standards, policies and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure development practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar application/infrastructure security role.
• Strong knowledge of secure software development practices and modern security principles.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and communicate security concepts clearly.
• Analytical mindset with proactive problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
