About the role

The company is looking for a Paper Machine Dryer Operator to work on a large industrial paper‑making site in Étival‑Clairefontaine. The position is temporary, full‑time and involves operating the dryer section of the paper machine while ensuring production and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the dryer section of the paper machine, adjusting settings to meet production and quality specifications.
• Monitor the performance of rotating machines, coverings, fluid lines, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Participate in cleaning, dressing and maintenance operations to keep the machine ready for sheet boarding.
• Carry out required measurements and visual/laboratory tests, reporting results to the production foreman.
• Work on a 5‑day, 8‑hour shift schedule, including possible posted work (3 × 8).

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of experience in paper machine operation or a similar industrial environment.
• Technical education such as Bac Pro (Chemistry, Water & Paper‑Cardboard Processes, Industrial Equipment Maintenance), CQP for paper‑machine operators, or BTS in Process Control.
• Possession of CACES R489 cat. 3 and CACES R484 (bridge‑crane) certifications.
• Calm, organized, good communication and teamwork abilities.
