SAP Project Director (M/F)

About the role

Magellan, an international management and technology consulting group, is looking for an SAP Project Director based in Paris. You will work with key accounts across energy, banking, insurance, industry, luxury and retail, supporting their digital transformation from strategy definition to operational implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients build their IT and business master plans and lead large-scale SAP programmes (Fiori, S/4HANA, S/4HANA Cloud, IBP) within quality, cost and timeline commitments.
• Organise steering committees and contractual review meetings with client management, and negotiate scope or service changes while protecting profitability.
• Manage the managers and consultants assigned to your programmes, including multi-site and multi-solution engagements.
• Coach teams, set methodological frameworks and ensure efficient, high-quality delivery.
• Steer the financial performance of projects and meet contractual commitments.
• Build long-term client relationships, take part in pre-sales with the sales teams, and design the firm's SAP offerings and methodologies.
• Contribute to the growth of the SAP practice: roadmap monitoring, vendor relations, technology watch, community animation, knowledge sharing and training.

Required profile

• Master's degree (business school, engineering school or university).
• At least 10 years of SAP experience, first in consulting and then in project management, within a consulting firm, IT services company or end client.
• Experience leading pre-sales activities and managing SAP integration projects (Fiori, S/4HANA, S/4HANA Cloud).
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders up to the executive committee level.
• Fluent English is a real asset, given the international nature of the projects.
