Robotic Assembly & High-Speed Machining Reverse Engineering Specialist

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a specialist to lead robotic assembly processes and high‑speed machining reverse engineering within its Final Assembly Lines (FAL) Industrial Assets department in Toulouse. The role combines technical expertise in CAD/CAM, robotics integration and advanced machining to support the industrialisation of specialised parts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical expert in CAD/CAM for the industrialisation of specialised machining parts.
• Provide hands‑on workshop assistance and share knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
• Lead process‑improvement projects focused on lead time, cost and quality metrics.
• Manage integration of robotic systems, cutting tools and post‑machining inspection cells (GOM) on the FAL.
• Drive the development of reverse‑engineering and robotics solutions while handling software obsolescence.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proven experience in an industrial environment with CAD/CAM and manufacturing responsibilities.
• Proactive, autonomous and precision‑driven mindset with a strong customer‑centric approach.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French.

Required skills

• CATIA V5.
• 3D scanning and photogrammetry.
• Reverse engineering techniques.
• Basic knowledge of the 3D Experience platform.
• Robotic systems integration.
• High‑speed machining and cutting‑tool expertise.
• Post‑machining inspection cells (GOM).
