Retrofit Procurement Manager – Systems & Equipment

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Retrofit Procurement Manager to lead commercial and contractual negotiations for in‑service fleet retrofit campaigns across all programmes (A300 to A350 & A220). Based in Toulouse, you will join a multi‑functional team of buyers supporting global aerospace projects.

Key responsibilities

• Align retrofit negotiation outcomes with programme support decisions.
• Develop and maintain a detailed retrofit negotiation action plan, including strategy, budget, target cost and lead‑time.
• Lead commercial negotiations for retrofit scopes and coordinate procurement negotiations with suppliers.
• Define after‑market strategies for complex avionics sub‑commodities in collaboration with programme support organisations.
• Contribute to Airbus cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
• Produce reports and briefings for management decision‑making.
• Place orders, administer contracts, monitor adjustments and manage recovery programmes during retrofit execution.
• Negotiate Retrofit Support Agreements (RSA) with suppliers during calls for tenders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, commercial negotiation and contract management, preferably in the aerospace sector.
• Strong understanding of retrofit programmes and after‑market support processes.
• Ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary team and coordinate with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
