About the role

Reporting to the Director of the Education Pole, the School Life Manager is responsible for leading the School Life service and supporting the implementation of the municipality’s educational strategy. The role involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating with schools and municipal partners, and ensuring that student services align with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the School Life department, supervising a school demographics officer and an administrative assistant.
• Develop and execute action plans that advance the municipal education strategy.
• Monitor and analyse student demographic data to inform policy decisions.
• Coordinate with schools, local authorities, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of student services.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on service performance and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in educational administration or a related public sector role.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of municipal education policies and student services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
