Research Assistant Internship – Skin Models and Cell Biology

About the role

Pierre Fabre Laboratories, a global pharma and dermo-cosmetics group, is recruiting a research assistant intern (H/F) for its Research Department, reporting to researchers in the Pharmacological and Clinical Research and Technology service. The internship takes place at the Langlade site in Toulouse and starts in January 2027. You will help build skin models to evaluate dermo-cosmetic actives and products for skin conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop cellular and/or tissue models followed by confocal microscopy
• Cultivate and maintain biological models and set up innovative pharmacological tests to assess the efficacy of actives and formulas
• Contribute to experimental protocols, data synthesis and presentation, report writing and scientific monitoring

Required profile

• Scientific degree (Master 1 or 2) with a specialisation in cell biology, molecular biology or imaging
• Knowledge of cell biology, optical microscopy and image analysis basics
• Rigour, autonomy, organisation and teamwork spirit

Required skills

• Image analysis tools such as Imaris and ImageJ
• Data processing
